The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is home to some of mixed martial art’s top athletes. That being said, some of the UFC’s competitors like to try their skills in different ways outside of the octagon. For former UFC strawweight champion Carla Esparza that meant learning how to dance with a “wrestler booty.”
Carla “Cookie Monster” Esparza is currently preparing for her next octagon performance. The strawweight is set to take on Cynthia Calvillo at UFC 219. “Cookie Monster” is riding a unanimous decision victory over Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night 112. Cynthia Calvillo, on the other hand, is undefeated in her MMA career.
While Esparza prepares for what will likely become her toughest challenge to date, the fighter has decided to share a lighthearted dance video with her fans.
Taking to Instagram, Esparza stated:
“When we got that ‘wrestler booty’ but don’t know what to do with it, pro dance choreographer @mmulholand to the rescue!!”
UFC 219 goes down Dec. 30 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
