Earlier this week another NHL Hockey scuffle made national headlines after Anaheim Ducks player Kevin Bieksa landed a move only seen inside the UFC’s Octagon.
Taking to the ice, Bieksa landed a a superman punch and nearly dropped Phildaelphia Flyers’ Radko Gudas during the Tuesday night game.
Now two of the UFC’s biggest stars share their reactions to the punch heard round the world.
GSP took to his verified twitter account with his reaction, and Miesha Tate told a Sirus XM show what she thought.
First GSP:
I’ve thrown the superman punch many ways but would never try it on the ice!!!

And Miesha’s reaction was much of the same:

While Miesha Tate remains retired, GSP is set to return in the UFC 217 main event.
This year’s return trip to Madison Square Garden is proof the UFC can still deliver a stacked mega-card, with all the bells and whistles.
Set to headline next week’s MSG card, Georges “Rush” St-Pierre returns to the Octagon for the first time in over four years. He will face off against the UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping in the UFC 217 main event, on pay-per-view.
Also on the night’s fight card is a long-awaited title fight between ex-teammates Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillasaw. And a big strawweight title fight between Joanna Jedrzerjczyk and “Thug” Rose Namajunas.
