Holloway Burns Conor Hard, Suggests He Should Fight C.M. Punk

Phil Brooks, the man better known as the WWE superstar C.M. Punk, made his UFC debut last year. Though, Brooks suffered a rough defeat to Mickey Gall that has since gained the WWE star criticism from the MMA community, his drawing power still has people wanting more.

Now, it would appear that the pro-wrestler has become the brunt of trash-talk between UFC champions Max Holloway and Conor McGregor.

Speaking on The MMA Hour, Holloway offered a comment on UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor, a man who once beat him.

“It is what it is. He says our fight between me and him is there, but it’s low on the totem pole. Then he is over here talking about fighting Paulie in MMA. It’s like, the guy should call out C.M. Punk, at least CM Punk got some time in UFC. I don’t know, it makes no sense to me. This guy is over here fighting exhibition matches. If that’s what you want to do, and he don’t want to be about that champ life, so be it.”

Of course, the last man to beat Max Holloway was none other than Conor McGregor. McGregor’s exit from the UFC’s featherweight division made way for the current champion’s reign, who is also Max Holloway.

Holloway wants his revenge no doubt, which is why these words are presented in the first place.
