UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is gearing up for another title defense. This time, the champion will be taking on title contender “Thug” Rose Namajunas. With that in mind, Joanna Jedrzejczyk has come forward with some words for her next title challenger.
Jedrzejczyk is undefeated in her mixed martial arts career and has looked nothing short of phenomenal in her reign as UFC 115lb champion. Most recently, the dominant strawweight fighter earned a unanimous decision victory over Jessica Andrade at UFC 211, making for Jedrzejczyk’s eighth consecutive win inside the octagon.
Rose Namajunas just earned a second round submission victory over Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson at UFC on FOX 24, putting Namajunes back in the winning column after suffering a loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
Now Joanna Jedrzejczyk has gone to Instagram to tell Namajunas that she should prepare for a rough battle.
Here is what Jedrzejczyk had to say:
“Everyone, I appreciate the kind words, @rosenamajunas I am glad that you recognize that there is an ass-kicking coming your way on Nov 4th.”
Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas will face off for the UFC strawweight title at UFC 217 on Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
