We’ve seen the likes of UFC females Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey and more go viral for their own versions of the beach-run, and now UFC strawweight Kailin Curran has thrown her name in the mix with her own.
UFC strawweight Kailin Curran has decided to take to Instagram to share a short video of herself taking a run into the clear, blue waters from the beach. Curran is not the first UFC competitor to attract some attention for her beach side video. Former UFC bantamweight champion’s Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey each gained some attention for past social media posts and beach side photos. Now, Kailin Curran can be counted among them.
Here’s the video that recently started making the rounds in the MMA-verse:
Curran is currently on a three fight losing streak inside the octagon. Most recently, the fighter faced a unanimous decision loss to Aleksandra Albu at UFC 214, although she was very confident heading into the fight this past July.
“It’s an honor to be on the same card as all these phenomenal fighters. Just to share this card with them is awesome. It’s a pretty big fight, it’s a pretty big deal for me just because I’m coming off of a loss. So I feel like this fight is very important for me just to perform my best and come out with the win.” said Curran prior to UFC 214.
“Her last fight was in 2015, she’s only has one fight in the UFC. It says she’s 6-0, but I haven’t really seen those fights that give her the record. From what I did see I guess, I know that she’s a tough fighter. She hits hard, but I think that I have more experience than she does. My approach like always is to go out there and scrap.”
Before that, Curran was dealt losses by Jamie Moyle and Felice Herrig. The fighter now stands at a professional record of 4-5.
