Top ranked UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of, if not thee, most dangerous fighter on the UFC’s 155 pound roster.
The undefeated fighter is ranked #1 for a reason, and despite his best efforts, he’ll have to watch this weekend’s Ferguson vs. Lee bout from the sidelines.
After a missed opportunity to fight Ferguson in a title eliminator, Khabib then went into his annual religious holiday of Ramadan where he will not train or fight.
The UFC President Dana White recently updated fight fans that Khabib isn’t ready for a return due to health reasons, and that’s part of the decision making process for this weekend’s UFC 216 headliner.
Now, just days out from UFC 216 and Khabib is saying that’s just not true, stating his health is good and he’s ready to fight, even stating he wanted on the Madison Square Garden card.

“I said I’m good with my health right now.”
“And what Dana White said [about my health], it’s not true. He’s lying.”
“We have the text messages with him and he has to show it to people. He asked me when I’ll be ready, and I said November.”
