Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has had a rough year. That being said, it would appear that the fighter is determined to make it “to the top of the mountain.”
Back in 2015, Jon Jones was stripped of his light heavyweight title due to being involved in a hit-and-run incident. In 2016 the fighter failed a drug test for clomiphene, which resulted in a one year suspension for Jones.
Returning from his suspension, Jon Jones faced off against rival and reigning champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. The fighter earned a knockout victory over his opponent, but the win would be short lived. Jones failed his USADA drug test for UFC 214, causing the fighter to be stripped of the title once again.
Taking to Instagram, Jones has now offered an inspirational message for his fans. Looking to the future, Jones stated:
“If I made it to the top of the mountain once, I can do it again. I believe there are talents inside of me I haven’t even discovered yet. There’s nothing I put my mind to that I can’t achieve, just got to be willing to put in the work. Who’s ready to work?”
