Miesha Tate has put on a storied career during her tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Now retired from the sport, Tate is a former UFC bantamweight champion that has taken on some of the best fighters her division has to offer. With a record of 18-7, Tate went on a five fight winning streak after being defeated by UFC superstar Ronda Rousey in 2013. Reigning UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes broke Tate’s winning streak by earning a first round submission victory at UFC 200.
Following a consecutive defeat at UFC 205, in which the fighter suffered a unanimous decision loss to Raquel Pennington, Miesha Tate decided to call an end to her illustrious fighting career.
That being said, Miesha Tate still has a dedicated following of fight fans. The former champion keeps in touch with her community through social media and by attending various UFC events. Now, a series of photos from the fighter have begun to get some serious attention over Instagram.
