The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made a trip down to Las Vegas, Nev. last night for UFC 216. In the night’s co-main event, Demetrious Johnson made UFC history. The flyweight champion decided to break a coveted UFC record with a a dazzling aerial finish that has become the conversation for many stunned fight fans. Now a replay of the amazing submission has made its way onto the internet.

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson faced off against Ray Borg last night in the UFC 216 co-main event. However, it was more than just another title defense for “Mighty Mouse.”

Johnson was looking to make UFC history by breaking Anderson Silva’s record for most consecutive title defenses with a win over Ray Borg. Well, Johnson performed. The flyweight champion earned his 11th consecutive title defense against the tough contender at last night’s event.

While Johnson’s new place among the UFC’s record holders is beginning to get people’s attention, plenty are discussing the way in which the fighter managed to do it. Outclassing Ray Borg in his wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Demetrious Johnson suplexed his opponent into the air and transitioned into an armbar submission before Borg could even hit the ground.
