Mixed martial arts veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri has done it all. The competitor has fought under a throng of banners, from the UFC, ONE FC, PRIDE to Rizin just to name a few. Today Kawajiri made his bantamweight debut at the Rizin Grand Prix bantamweight tournament. With two Rizin performances already under his belt, the veteran was looking to gain a positive record under the promotion. However, it would appear that Kawajiri has suffered another loss.
After telegraphing his takedowns during the fight, Gabriel Leite de Oliveira was able to time his opponent well enough to land a devastating knee to the face of Kawajiri. As a result, Kawajiri suffered a brutal knockout loss in the second round of his bantamweight debut. The mixed martial arts veteran now holds a professional record of 36-12.
