Fan favorite UFC strawweight, “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings is in the midst of preparing for her return to UFC action against Joanne Calderwood.
The two ladies will be making their debut in the UFC’s newly minted female flyweight division, on November 18th’s UFC Fight Night 121 card, from the Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
It’s a homecoming for Bec, who hasn’t fought on her home soil since her 2016 victory over Seo Hee Ham.
In typical “Rowdy” fashion, Bec has transplanted herself to her training home at Alliance MMA, in San Diego, California. While there she works with some of the top females in the sport today. Fighters the likes of Angela Hill, bantamweight contender Cat Zingano and many more.
Apparently sparring sessions are rough over there. While preparing for her fight, that’s just a short three-weeks away, Bec caught one on the eye and has a massive shiner to prove it.
