Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz and the UFC president had some bad blood back in the day. With Ortiz’s contract coming to an end, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” demanded that a clause be placed in his new contract that UFC President Dana White would spar three rounds with him. However, the 2006 epic event would never come to pass.
Before it was cancelled, Dana White was hard at work preparing for the fight. In the video above, White shows the basement gym in which he was training to fight Ortiz.
The video was designed to document White’s journey to preparing for a fight with a real UFC fighter, but was unfortunately the closest fans would get to seeing the president go toe-to-toe with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.”
