Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is on a dominant run in the division at the moment. On a five fight winning streak, Miocic has put away four of his last five finished opponents within the first round. Now it would appear that the champion is gearing up for another title defense.
The champion has defended his belt twice now, fending off striking phenom Alistair Overeem at UFC 203 and putting away Junior dos Santos at UFC 211. Junior dos Santos is one of two fighters to ever defeat Miocic, alongside Stefan Struve.
Taking to Instagram, Miocic hinted to possibly having landed a new fight with the message, “Can’t wait to defend my belt!”
