It would appear that mixed martial arts veteran Hector Lombard had a tough challenge ahead of him earlier this year when he faced off against a 7 ft. tall martial artist in a judoka competition. Still, Bellator’s inaugural middleweight champion and current UFC competitor took on the challenge with stride.
A former Olympic judoka, Lombard has a history of tossing his opponents around with ease. This time, the mixed martial artist managed to defeat a much larger opponent with seemingly little effort. The impressive display can be seen in the video above.
Lombard is currently on a four fight losing streak inside the octagon, having not achieved a victory since 2014. Most recently, the fighter suffered a knockout loss to Anthony Smith at UFC Fight Night 116. Prior to that, Lombard went the distance with former champion Johny Hendricks. However the fighter ultimately received a unanimous decision defeat.
