As a candidate for greatest UFC competitor of all time and a repeat drug test failure, Jon Jones has scored a mass of fans and enemies during his tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. “Bones” Jones was stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title back in 2015 after being involved in a hit-and-run incident. Then in 2016, the fighter failed a drug test for clomiphene. As a result, Jones was suspended for a year.
Coming back from his suspension, Jones faced off against heated rival and reigning champion Daniel Cormier. The fighter scored a title earning, knockout victory over Cormier, but the win would be short lived. Jon Jones failed his drug test for UFC 214. As a result, Cormier is once again the light heavyweight champion of the UFC and his UFC 214 loss was overturned to a no contest.
All of that in mind, Jones has received quite a bit of heat from fight fans over the years. Some fans often vocalize their opinions on the fighter through social media. For @Jon Jones, this has been an interesting and confusing experience.
The former UFC champion known as Jon Jones does not actually use a Twitter handle of his first and last name. Rather, the fighter can be found under @JonnyBones.
