The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is getting ready for another exhilarating night of fights. This time the mixed martial arts promotion is preparing for UFC Fight Night 120. The event goes down this Saturday, Nov. 11, inside the TED Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
The night’s main event is set to feature a lightweight war, as former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis faces off against Dustin Poirier. Pettis is riding a unanimous decision victory over Jim Miller, as the fighter looks to climb his way back up the rankings for contention.
Poirier faced off against former champion Eddie Alvarez at UFC 211, but the fight was turned to a no contest following an accidental knee to the head of a grounded fighter. Now Poirier and Pettis will battle it out in Virginia for division dominance.
With the fight only days away, both fighters are now in Norfolk for fight week. In the social media post below, Pettis can be seen in a side-by-side with his upcoming opponent looking thin ahead of fight night.
