The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs had their final race on Sunday, Nov. 19, in Homestead, Florida. On race day, patrons of the race were privileged to see four non-televised fights from the Monster Energy Bellator MMA Series. However, it would appear that things may have not been so great for the day’s competitors.
Professional mixed martial artist Mitchell Chamale recently took to Facebook to share a photo of fighters having to sit on cardboard during the event. The fighter stated:
“Fight for Bellator they said… with all the production equipment they travelled with, they could have thrown ins couple mats. The state wants the fighters to carry themselves as professionals, but don’t require promotions to treat them like professionals. I️t has to work both ways.”
