Bellator 187 is going down today in Dublin, Ireland and it would appear that chaos has now stormed the cage.
SBG Ireland’s Charlie Ward faced off against John Redmond on today’s main card, earning a stunning first round TKO victory over the fighter. However, Ward’s TKO victory is not what is currently making headlines.
UFC superstar and SBG Ireland member Conor McGregor was cage side for his teammate’s Bellator performance. After Ward finished his opponent, “Notorious” stormed the cage. Jumping over the fence, slapping a commissioner in the face and getting into the face of referee Marc Goddard, McGregor tackled his teammate and congratulated him on his victory. “Notorious” was not a licensed cornerman for Charlie Ward today.
Now Bellator has offered a high definition video of the recent incident. As the UFC superstar’s intense appearance at the event will likely boost the mixed martial arts promotion’s views for Bellator 187, it would appear that the organization is ready to flaunt McGregor’s storming of the cage. Taking to Twitter, Bellator stated “Madness in Dublin thanks to @TheNotoriousMMA!!! DO NOT miss #Bellator187 TONIGHT.” Check out the announcers’ excited remarks to seeing McGregor inside the cage in the video below:
