Bellator MMA is gearing up for an exciting heavyweight tournament that is set to kick off sometime early 2018. The grand prix is set to feature one fight per event for seven yet undecided Bellator fight cards, with the finale expected to take place in Dec. 2018.
The event will feature a series of mixed martial arts veterans and highly acclaimed competitors of the combat sports world, as the event will include Fedor Emelianenko, Frank Mir, Matt Mitrione, Roy Nelson, Ryan Bader, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, Muhammad Lawal and Chael Sonnen.
Fedor Emelianenko made his debut under the Bellator banner in a match up against Matt Mitrione at Bellator 180. “The Last Emperor” suffered a first round TKO loss.
