Edmond Tarverdyan is perhaps most famous for being the mixed martial arts coach to former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. Rousey inspired a generation of female mixed martial artist, as her career in the UFC raised her up to super stardom. Alongside the fighter, Tarverdyan has since received some attention for being in the fighter’s corner.
That being said, the coach’s reception has not all been positive. As seen in the video below, Tarverdyan has a history of being aggressive with his fighter’s opponents. Tarverdyan can be seen nearly getting into a fight with multiple UFC competitors while visiting The Ultimate Fighter house. Beyond that, Tarverdyan has had some heated moments from the corner of UFC heavyweight Travis Browne as well. The coach can be heard screaming at Browne’s opponent during a fight.
