Conor McGregor caused quite a stir when he rushed the cage at Bellator 187. After watching teammate Charlie Ward drop his opponent, the UFC superstar climbed the cage, slapped a commissioner in the face and ended up in an altercation with referee Marc Goddard.
McGregor has been receiving some heat from fight fans and fighters alike for the recent incident. Now it would appear that former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has decided to share his thoughts on the matter.
As heard in the podcast below, Michael Bisping comments McGregor on his “passion” for his teammates but explains that entering the cage was perhaps not the best decision.
“He is very passionate about his teammates, that is clearly evident, which is a good trait. What isn’t a good trait is diving into the cage. You can’t do that.”
