UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt is set to make his first defense of his title at this weekend’s UFC 217. For the event, the fighter will be facing former champion and former teammate T.J. Dillashaw. The two fighters have some bad blood, as Dillashaw departed from Team Alpha Male shortly after earning his bantamweight title. Yesterday the UFC hosted the pre-fight press conference for the event and sparks were flying between the two fighters.
During the conference, Cody Garbrandt answered a question concerning former accusations that T.J. Dillashaw has been using performance enhancing drugs during his career. Garbrandt responded, “He’s on everything.” Shortly after Dillashaw’s response, Garbrandt added “You’re the one that showed everyone how to do it on Team Alpha Male.”
“No Love” and Dillashaw will face off in the co-main event of UFC 217 on Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
