Cody Garbrandt Reacts to Losing Belt, Sends Message to T.J. Dillashaw

New York hosted Saturday’s UFC 217 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena with an exhilarating night of performances.

UFC 217 featured a three title fights, each of which had the New York crowd screaming and on their feet. In the night’s main event, UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping welcomed Georges St-Pierre back into the octagon after nearly four years away from the UFC. “Rush” earned a title winning TKO finish over “The Count” for a climactic end to the night’s card.

UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk faced off against “Thug” Rose Namajunas. The tough contender dethroned her undefeated opponent from her 14 fight winning streak and her strawweight title in the first stunning title fight from the night.

The night’s co-main event featured a war between UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and former teammate T.J. Dillashaw.

Dillashaw was once a member of Team Alpha Male. However, the fighter left the training camp shortly after earning the bantamweight title. Since then, Garbrandt and Dillashaw have been in a heated rivalry.

Dillashaw earned a finish over his opponent in Saturday’s co-main event, earning the fighter the championship belt once again. Now “No Love” has gone to Twitter to offer his post-fight thoughts, including a congratulatory message to his opponent.
