UFC superstar Conor McGregor has been keeping a tight lid on what is going to be next for him after he made his professional boxing debut in August. With “Notorious” having taken away a projected $100 million from his TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr., many fight fans find it hard to believe that the UFC lightweight champion will simply return to the octagon.
While McGregor recently ended speculation by claiming UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson as his next target, it would appear that there may be some strings attached.
MMA Junkie’s Chamatkar Sandhu recently took to Twitter to report:
“McGregor says now that he’s also a promoter he’s not stepping into the Octagon again unless he has a promoters stake.”
