The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is only a day away from hosting one of the year’s most highly anticipated fight cards, as UFC 217 goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
In the night’s main event former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will be taking on UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. The fight will not only be St-Pierre’s debut in the middleweight division, but will also be the competitor’s first fight in nearly four years. After a close decision win over Johny Hendricks in 2013, “Rush” decided to call an end to his mixed martial arts career. That being said, the fighter has since decided to make his big octagon return.
With the fights only a day away, the time has come for the UFC 217 ceremonial weigh-ins. In a high energy face off, Michael Bisping was immediately held back back UFC President Dana White. The promotion’s president was forced to push the champion away from his opponent as Georges St-Pierre began to point and laugh at Bisping.
