Dana White Says ‘UFC 217: Bisping vs. GSP’ Will Break The MayMac PPV Record

… In Canada!

That’s right folks, UFC boss Dana White is in full sales-pitch mode ahead of tonight’s UFC 217 event, and he’s pitching some heat!

Here’s what White had to say during his pre-fight media scrum, “May-Mac is number one in Canada, another one of our UFC events is two and three. This one is trending to beat all three of them. I’m very confident that this fight will break the record in Canada, that we just broke with May-Mac, and be number one.”

“We’re going to do a million buys between the United States and Canada.”

UFC President Dana White also dropped another dose of pre-fight business hype during the fighter meeting, stating, “We’re on track to beat McGregor vs Mayweather — thank you, Georges,” he said. “This place here (MSG), we’re going to be number three all-time gate. We’re number one and number three.”

This year’s return trip to Madison Square Garden is proof the UFC can still deliver a stacked mega-card, with all the bells and whistles.

Set to headline this massive MSG card, Georges “Rush” St-Pierre returns to the octagon for the first time in over four years. He will face off against the UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping in the UFC 217 main event, on pay-per-view.

Also on the night’s fight card is a long-awaited title fight between ex-teammates Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw. And a big strawweight title fight between Joanna Jedrzerjczyk and “Thug” Rose Namajunas.
