The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now visiting New York for UFC 217, a highly anticipated fight card set to include the octagon return of former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. Now the night’s fighters have come face-to-face for one final staredown before the exciting event begins.
UFC 217 goes down Saturday night, Nov. 4, inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York. In the night’s main event, Georges St-Pierre will be making his first appearance in the middleweight division and his first octagon performance in nearly four years. For the highly anticipated match up, the fighter will be taking on reigning UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping. Of course, that is not the only exciting title fight that UFC 217 has in store.
In the night’s co-main event, UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt will be facing off against former champion and former teammate T.J. Dillashaw in a highly heated grudge match. With the night of fight’s only a day away, UFC 217’s competitors gathered together today for the ceremonial weigh-ins for one final chance to staredown their opponents.
