The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be heading to Detroit, Michigan on Dec. 2 for UFC 218. There inside the Little Caesars Arena, Max Holloway will be looking to make his first title defense as he takes on former UFC champion Frankie Edgar.
In the night’s co-headliner, UFC heavyweights Francis Ngannou and Alistair Overeem will be going toe-to-toe. Ngannou has never been defeated under the UFC banner, having only suffered one loss on his professional mixed martial arts record. The fighter has also earned a first round finish all of his last three octagon performances.
Overeem is currently on a two fight winning streak, having just earned a majority decision victory over Fabricio Werdum at UFC 213. Taking to Twitter, Ngannou has decided to poke fun at his upcoming opponent.
Overeem can be seen holding an alligator in the photo below. Commenting on the image, “The Predator” stated:
“This guy is funny! He’s thinking that on December 2nd he’s going to play with a baby animal in the petting ZOO.”
