Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre is gearing up for his big octagon return. Having retired after a close decision win over Johny Hendricks back in 2013, the fighter has not competed in mixed martial arts in nearly four years.
Now, however, St-Pierre has decided to make a return to the sport. This time “Rush” will be moving up in weight to challenge UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping for his title in the main event of Saturday’s UFC 217.
Appearing on episode four of “UFC 217 Embedded,” Georges St. Pierre hit the scales. Weighing 196 pounds, the fighter had a few choice words on his weight as he nears his middleweight debut.
“I’m f**king small, go**amn.” He said. “We don’t tell Bisping. Don’t put that in the f**king show.
St-Pierre later added, “It’s no problem. I am small, but I am faster. He won’t hit me.”
UFC 217 goes down Nov. 4 inside the Madison Square Garden Arena and will be available live on pay-per-view.
