Jon Jones Posts Return To Training, “Day 1”

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has had a rough year. Now, however, it would appear that the fighter is back hard in training.

Back in 2015, Jon Jones was stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title after being involved in a hit-and-run incident. In the following year, Jones failed a drug test for clomiphene, an anti-estrogenic substance. After claiming that the banned substance entered his system due to male enhancement drugs, the fighter was dealt a year long suspension.

Coming back from his suspension, Jon Jones made his big octagon return at UFC 214. Taking on reigning light heavyweight champion and heated rival Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones earned a knockout victory over his opponent. However, Jones victory was quite short lived.

After failing his drug test for UFC 214, Jones was stripped of his title once again. The fighter has yet to be dealt a punishment for his latest drug test, as USADA is still investigating the matter. In the meantime, Jones has taken to Instagram to reveal that he has returned to training.
