The ongoing feud between top ranked welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal and former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping is well documented. The two fighters have been bashing one another through the media and in person during several heated altercations.
Their rivalry stems from Bisping’s beef with Yoel Romero and his disrespect of the Cuban flag, so it’s been one thing after another ever since then. The two of them were even forced to be separated during the UFC 217 fight week while at the fighter hotel.
This prompted Masvidal to bring in some bigger guns to make sure Bisping was kept in check.
“We brought the boogeyman.” Jorge Masvidal said to the UFC camera crew when asked about Bisping. “There’s been a lot of talking. I was like ‘man, I’m not even gonna deal with guy right now’, I’ve got somebody else’s jaw to break. So I brought my big brother over there just in case somebody gets out of hand again.”
The camera then turned to a very serious Yoel Romero who issued another stern warning to the former middleweight champion.
“I am here. I’m coming for you, you know. I’ll follow you. Wherever you’re going, I go. Remember, I see you soon boy”
