It was recently revealed that the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has locked in a multi-year deal with NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s BODYARMOR sports drink. Beginning in 2018, the beverage will be the official drink sponsor of the UFC. Now, it would appear that the NBA legend has landed four top competitors within the mixed martial arts promotion for sponsorship.
The UFC recently took to Twitter to reveal the news. UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou, UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, strawweight Cynthia Calvillo and Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson are now sponsored by Bryant’s BODYARMOR sports drink company.
Here is the UFC’s original announcement:
“Announcement: @Cody_NoLove, @Cyn_Calvillo, @Francis_Ngannou & @KarateHottieMMA sponsored athletes of @DrinkBodyArmor. UFC flavor unveiled.”
