Back when T.J. Dillashaw had the bantamweight belt, Team Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber and UFC superstar Conor McGregor were coaching The Ultimate Fighter 21. During the season, McGregor referred to Dillashaw as a “snake in the grass.”
Dillashaw was training with visiting coach Duane Ludwig at the time, which he would later leave Team Alpha Male to join Ludwig’s Elevation Fight Team. Ever since then, Dillashaw and Team Alpha Male’s Cody Garbrandt have had some bad blood.
That in mind, it would now appear that the official UFC on FOX Twitter account is also referring to Dillashaw as a “snake.”

The two will get a chance to settle the score when the UFC bantamweight champion sets out to make his first title defense in the co-main event of this Saturday’s UFC 217. Dillashaw and reigning champion Cody Garbrandt will go face-to-face inside the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York on Nov. 4, live on pay-per-view.
