It would appear that one Twitter employee recently decided to shut down U.S. President Donald Trump’s social media account.
While it was only for 11 minutes, the official Twitter account of President Donald Trump was deactivated yesterday. After an investigation into the matter, it was determined by the social media company that an employee deactivated the account internally on his last day of work.
Here is the original report from Twitter:
“Earlier today @realdonaldtrump’s account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored. We are continuing to investigate and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.
“Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee’s last day. We are conducting a full internal review.”
