With Sylvester Stallone looking to make the sequel to Creed as exciting as possible, MMA fighters have been lining up at the door to get a spot in the upcoming film.
Specifically, Creed 2 is set to feature the son of Ivan Drago. The fictional character was the primary antagonist of Rocky IV and was played by none other than action film star Dolph Lundgren. Now it would appear that UFC’s Sage Northcutt is looking to get in on the action.
Taking to Twitter, Northcutt stated “I think I would be perfect to play Ivan Drago’s son in Creed 2.”

Following the message, the fighter has received positive support from fight fans and the mixed martial arts community. Some fight fans appear determined to see the fighter play the iconic role within the upcoming film.
Creed 2 is set to release Nov. 21, 2018.

For now, Northcutt is gearing up for his next octagon performance. The fighter will be returning the the lightweight division for UFC Fight Night 120. Northcutt will be facing off against Michel Quinones on Nov. 11 in Norfolk, Virginia.
