Sylvester Stallone is gearing up for yet another exciting entry in the Rocky franchise. This time around, the movie maker is looking to put together a sequel to the hit film Creed. With the Rocky series having become a loved classic for many fight fans, MMA fighters are lining up to try and snag a role in the upcoming film. Among them, UFC lightweight Sage Northcutt has been on a mission to land a key role for Creed 2.
Creed 2 is set to feature the son of Ivan Drago. Drago was the primary antagonist of Rocky IV and was played by action film star Dolph Lundgren. The UFC fighter strikes a stunning similarity to the youthful image of Lundgren from the film, leading many fight fans to push for Northcutt to achieve the role of Drago’s son in the upcoming movie.
Taking to Twitter, Northcutt has offered a photoshopped image of his face over President Donald Trump, as Trump shakes hands with Putin. The message reads:
“Glad to meet a fan of Drago and the Rocky movies lol.” Northcutt said on his social media.
