The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was put into a tough spot when the mixed martial arts promotion lost its main event match up for the UFC’s upcoming debut in Shanghai, China. However, on just weeks notice, Michael Bisping stepped up to headline the event.
UFC Fight Night 122 goes down Nov. 25 inside the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. The UFC’s big debut in Shanghai was initially set to see former middleweight champion Anderson Silva go toe-to-toe with Kelvin Gastelum. However, Silva was later pulled from the event due to a failed drug test.
While “The Count” was coming off of a tough title ending loss to Georges St-Pierre from UFC 217, Michael Bisping still stepped up and locked in the main event slot at UFC Fight Night 122 on just weeks notice. Now a side-by-side comparison of each fighter’s statistics has made its way onto the internet in promotion for the event.
