From Super Fat College Nerd, To Ripped UFC Contender … Check Out This Shocking Fighter Transformation

While Mixed martial arts is not a career path for everyone. The sport is a terrific way to get in shape. For UFC light heavyweight Khalil Rountree, getting in shape was only the beginning.

The 27-year-old recently took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with his fight fans. The fighter can be seen from his sophomore year of college, before entering the fighting shape Rountree has now earned.

Rountree is now on the two fight winning streak inside the octagon, with first round knockout victories over Daniel Jolly and Paul Craig. The fighter was thrown off of a four fight winning streak when he suffered a decision loss in his octagon debut to Andrew Sanchez, later leading to a submission loss to Tyson Pedro. Now Rountree holds a professional mixed martial arts record of 6-2.
