The Chinese Dominate American Fighters In Shanghai: Kailin Curran vs. Yan Xiaonan Edition

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was in Shanghai, China on Saturday, Nov. 25, for UFC Fight Night 122. The event made for the mixed martial arts promotion’s debut in Shanghai, China. With that in mind, many of the night’s Chinese competitors walked away with huge victories over their American counterparts. With the night of fights now in the books, here is a look at one of the event’s big UFC results.

Yan Xiaonan made her big UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 122. For her first octagon performance, the fighter went toe-to-toe with Kailin Curran. Curran was on a three fight losing streak inside the octagon leading up to the event, having most recently suffered a loss to Aleksandra Albu at UFC 214.

Xiaonan, on the other hand, has not suffered a loss in her mixed martial arts career since 2010. At UFC Shanghai, Xiaonan kept her winning streak alive with a big win over her octagon experienced opponent.

After putting on a battle for the Shanghai crowd, Xiaonan walked away with a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.
