Next week’s UFC Fight Night 122 event from Shangai will go down as planned, and potentially better than ever. However, the show did take some bumps and bruises along the way, thanks to the efforts of the UFC’s drug testing program USADA.
USADA violations have impacted the fight card in both the main event and preliminary portion.
Most notable is Anderson Silva’s second failed drug test. The aging legend was scheduled to fight Kelvin Gastelum, but on two-weeks notice he was removed from the event.
Fresh off losing his UFC middleweight world title at UFC 217, Michael Bisping jumped at the opportunity to fill the void.
