Will Brooks and Nik Lentz are former teammates of American Top Team and current heated rivals. The two fighters had a chance to settle the score at UFC 216, but Lentz pulled out of the event on moments notice. Luckily, the fight was rebooked and the two fighters finally met inside the octagon at Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 121.
The event went down Nov. 18 inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. While the former Bellator lightweight champion finally met face-to-face with Lents inside the octagon, things did not go Brooks’ way.
Lentz managed to sink in a guillotine choke in the second round, earning the fighter a submission victory over the former champion. Now Will Brooks has come forward with a response to his recent loss.
