Mixed martial arts is a tough sport. It demands athletes be in top shape both physically and mentally. After all, MMA competitors do fight for a living. With that in mind, one fighter decided to turn off his killer instinct for a moment during his match up to help his fellow competitor out of a tough situation.
As seen in the video provided, two mixed martial artists were throwing down when one of the competitors suffered an unfortunate injury. The fighter tried to throw an overhand right, but ended up dislocating his shoulder in the process. Rather than push the pace and pummel his injured opponent for a quick victory, the healthy competitor stepped back and waited for the referee to acknowledge the injury.
Neither the referee or the fighter’s cornerman were having much luck with getting the competitor’s shoulder back in the socket. Then, the fighter’s opponent simply walked up and pulled it back into place so the fight could continue.
