Fight fans are pouring into the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Canada tonight, Dec. 16, for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s most recent fight card. This time around, the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC on FOX 26 for the Winnipeg crowd. Kicking off the night’s main card, light heavyweight warriors Glover Teixeira and Misha Cirkunov are throwing down for division supremacy. Here are the UFC results below.
Teixeira opened the first round with a flurry of strikes. Cirkunov retaliated with a strong right hand, before the two fighters began exchanging in the center of the octagon with a series of strikes.
Cirkunov began increasing the fight’s pace, as the competitor was landing some seriously powerful strikes on Teixeira. After being put on his back foot, Teixeira managed to take his opponent to the canvas. From there, Teixeira laid down a series of strikes that caused the referee to call a stop to the contest.
