When you’re good, you’re good, and Mackenzie Dern was once again able to keep her unbeaten record intact. She needed only the first round to earn a submission win over Kaline Medeiros in her UFC Fight Pass debut at Invicta FC 26.
Dern is just four-fights into her professional Mixed Martial Arts career and was given a co-main event billing on tonight’s Invicta FC fight card. She’s managed to finish most of her previous opponents using the elite Brazilian jiu jitsu skills that won her a world championship.
Mackenzie had her opponent mounted and was landing hard shots that forced Medeiros to turn and give her arm up. It only takes a fraction of a second for the BJJ world champion to latch onto a limb, and that’s exactly what happened.
