A young Muay Thai Fighter only known to us as Jeremy took a Muay Thai fight at Patong Stadium in Thailand this past Monday, and was the recipient of a horrific skull fracture. Now, five days removed from the incident we finally have an update on the viral fighter.
In MMA we’ve seen another similar injury, and it happened in the Bellator cage when Michael Venom Page cracked Evangelista Cyborg (The guy) with a nasty knee, ending their bout. (Video above) Though the injury took place nearly eighteen months ago, the Brazilian has yet to return to action.
Muay Thai’s own Jonny Betts posted the following on this latest viral combat sports injury:
Bit of a nasty injury caused by a big elbow on Monday night at Patong stadium. He had surgery last night, wish him a quick recovery! #SkullFracture #MuayThai
Now we have an update on the young fighter, and after surgery to implant a titanium plate, he lost the ashtray in his dome.
