UFC superstar Conor McGregor tried to take over the world of boxing on Aug. 26, 2017. For his professional boxing debut, the UFC lightweight champion went toe-to-toe with undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. While Mayweather managed to put “Notorious” away in the tenth round, McGregor still walked away with the payday of his career. On top of that, other famous boxers are now coming forward to challenge the fighter. It would appear that boxing legend Riddick Bowe is the latest to take an interest in McGregor.
After McGregor vs. Mayweather broke pay-per-view sales records and “Notorious” walked away with an alleged $100 million from his boxing debut, boxing phenom Oscar De La Hoya revealed that he had been training in secret to challenge McGregor to a super-fight of his own. However, De La Hoya was not alone.
Since then, it has been reported that Manny Pacquiao is currently in negotiations for a possible fight against Conor McGregor. While nothing is yet set in stone for any of the possible match ups, it would appear that Riddick Bowe is now also interested in taking on “Notorious.”
Taking to Twitter, the former heavyweight boxing champion had a simple message for his fans. Bowe stated, “Bowe vs Mcgregor. Bowe”
