Few mixed martial artists have reached the level of super stardom achieved by Ronda Rousey. The Olympic Judo medalist has gone on to have a storied career in the sport. The fighter pulled together a six fight winning streak in her MMA career, before making it in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Once there, Rousey helped build the UFC bantamweight division by pulling together a dedicated following of hardcore fans.
The fighter had a reputation as a brutal finisher, with only one of the fighter’s victories ever making it to the final round. That in mind, Rousey has never gone the distance in her MMA career.
Rousey would go on to become the UFC bantamweight champion, as of the sport’s most heavily dominant fighters. That being said, things would eventually not go Rousey’s way inside the octagon.
The fighter lost her title to Holly Holm back in 2015. Holm dealt a brutal knockout loss to the formerly undefeated fighter. Rousey would return to face Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. However, the fighter suffered another tough defeat. Nunes earned a TKO stoppage in the first round.
Rousey has not competed inside the octagon since going on a two fight losing streak. Beyond that, Rousey has largely gone media silent since her two losses. With that in mind, the former UFC bantamweight champion has now come forward to reveal her new project for her fans.
Going to Instagram, Rousey revealed that rondarousey.com is currently in production. The website will be dedicated to providing content with her fans and for her fans. In the post, Rousey stated:
“I love my fans and I want to be able to have direct communication with them. I just want my relationship with my fans to be on my terms and this was the only way I could really think of to do it.”
