Rising MMA star Francis Ngannou has been on a tear through the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion. The heavyweight knockout artist has yet to face a loss inside the octagon, making the fighter a deadly opponent for any UFC competitor. That in mind, one of the fighter’s most dominant performances did not come from an octagon match up. Rather, Ngannou earned his fastest fight finish to date before his days under the UFC banner.
Ngannou was in Geneva, Switzerland on Sept. 20, 2014 for the MMA event of Strength and Honor Championship 10. For the fight, Ngannou went toe-to-toe with one Luc Ngeleka. That being said, the fight would not last long.
Ngannou earned a submission victory over his opponent in the opening moments of the first round with a with a powerful head lock from the standing position. Ngeleka can be seen resisting the strong arm submission but for a moment, before tapping to the tight choke.
Francis Ngannou is now set to face off against UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic for the title at UFC 220. The event goes down Jan. 20, 2018 inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts and will be available live on pay-per-view.
