The United States Marine Corps is known as home to the country’s toughest and bravest. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is home to some of the world’s toughest mixed martial artists, making for perhaps an inevitable intersection between the two worlds.
As seen in the video above, a collection of competitors from the UFC came together some years back to take part in some military training from the United States Marine Corps. UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin and UFC’s Brian Stann were among those brave enough to take on the challenge.
The UFC competitors can be seen taking on some talented Marines in a series of challenges and military drills, including a unique sparring drill that involved taking on multiple opponents at once.
Decked out in protective gear, Marines wielding clubs and staffs would battle it out. Eventually, some of the UFC’s finest were asked to join the training session.
Check out the intense set of challenges and drills laid out for the UFC competitors in the video above.
