Former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez has offered a heated message over social media concerning fellow UFC competitor Nate Diaz.
Nate Diaz has not fought inside the octagon since 2016. The fighter entered a heated rivalry with UFC superstar Conor McGregor, with the two MMA warriors ultimately going 1-1 in their two highly anticipated octagon battles.
Diaz has since come forward on Instagram to reveal his plans to make an octagon return.
“Sick of sitting around waiting for you f**kers to do sh*t there’s no excitement in this fight sh*t step your games up I’ll see u around may,June Sincerely The Real Champ”
After hearing the news, Eddie Alvarez offered to fight Diaz in a statement made over Twitter.

Now Alvarez has come forward to claim that Diaz has declined to fight him.
